In my mind, for the most part violence against another person is violence. Whether someone is killed by a terrorist bomb, a angry spouse or robber, the result is the same: one person took another person’s life.

I see two problems however. 1. They are referring to minor acts against women that would never ever be labeled as terrorism. 2. They are only applying this to one sex, so they aren’t comparing all acts of violence to terrorism, only acts against women which is incredibly discriminatory and inconsistent. Compounding this bias is the fact that in England, men are victims of violent crime more so than women.

I think one could argue this blatant disregard for male victims is misandrist. It’s certainly gynocentric.
