That is alot more to this story but to summarize. Texas law is so weird and is ultimately fucking me over. So my STBX and I had an agreement but not now she wants to hold off on signing the decree due to personal gain. I just want this marriage to be over with. We have 2 children, which is why i have tried to be civil as possible especially since I'm in the military currently overseas and she is my only way of contacting them at the moment. Now my STBX did not want to leave kids with me overseas, but then soon decides she needs a break from the kids. Now sending them to another state with my grandmother knowing I was coming down to see them in August. Costing me an extra grand to reschedule my flight. The onlt reason she is sending my kids with my grandmother is so she can "enjoy her summer and live her life". This was really just a selfish move and inconsiderate to not only me but also my children. Now she is talkinh about joining the military also because her life plans are not working out. And the military does not let single parents join, she would jave to give up custody for her 1st contract. I stated we should just give my grandmother temp custody until one of us returns but she don't want to do that( because she does not want to pay anymore child support, but has no problem putting me on it even though i was already sending her 500$ per paycheck. Granted she is trying to put me on it because i told her that i was going send her less until I recuperate the ectra 1000$ that she force me to spend just so she can enjoy her summer). The main point is now she does not want to sign the agreement because of her trying to join next year and doesnt want to give up custody and i am not willing to wait until next year and i ready to just serve her papers but texas law is so ridiculous thats high probability that my children will some how end up back in her primary care and i just know she will then continue to make things difficult for me revolving around my children what should i doo. ?? I have spoken with my lawyer today and the road in front me does not look to grand when it comes to my children.
