I was at a music festival the other day, by myself, and was meeting lots of new people. I found very little difference between the girls who are single and show clear IOI's with me and every girl in relationship that I talk to (thats around my age, 19). I was meeting new girls at this festival every couple of minutes. However the girls I got along with really well, ended up having a boyfriend. I don't mean like they say mid convo "I have a boyfriend", I mean that their boyfriend would soon after just rock up. All 6 of these girls in relationships were showing very clear IOI's unlike many of the single girls.

There is probably a rather simple answer but these past 2 years I have just assumed that is because they are comfortable with their current situation. Hence, they are more willing to put themselves out there in public and meet new people. .

So what are your theories?
