First of all, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who responded to my last post. All of your thoughts, opinions, and suggestions were truly helpful. I would like to get a little more insight if possible...of course a little venting lol

So in the previous post I mentioned that we have been married for 14 years and have children. I mentioned that we have been separated before, seen marriage counselors, and I've had divorce paperwork ready but didn't go through with it...but think about it constantly.

So these are some of the issues that dont seem to get resolved..and that have been very important to me that they do.

It seems like parenting is more of a chore/stress than a joy for her. Eventually most of the caretaking became my responsibility. When I'm home from work, it's as if I'm a single parent. When I'm at work, I come home on my breaks to help with their hw, because she either forgets or rushes it.

She is very lazy with housework. Dishes, laundry, sweeping, mopping, garbage...it's all left for me. The house becomes an instant train wreck everyday I go to work or leave for a few hours.

When trying to help our kids hit different milestones (Right now potty training) I'm generally on my own as well. I am currently on vacation from work and it gets me wondering if she will continue to monitor our child's potty training or just not care.. I almost expect the latter..

The way she has become: overly stressed from parenting and never keeping up with the house, it got to the point I asked another family member come over a few days a week to help while I'm at work.

The reason I mention this is because it's the way she has been since our first born and she has gotten progressively worse. I've mentioned these issues to her throughout the years , and while she will occasionally put some effort, she always reverts back to her usually patterns and there always seems to be some type of reason or excuse for why she does (or doesnt) do the things she does.

I'm curious if anyone has dealt with this in their relationship and if they had any thoughts, advice, whatever lol thanks :)
