A story about a couple that lives in Uttar Pradesh in India has recently come into limelight.

They both got married in the year 2013. After their marriage, the wife expressed her desire to study further and the husband was very happy to know that she wanted to make something out of her life.

They weren't very good financially and he sold undergarments tirelessly day and night to make sure his wife could continue her studies. He even got her into one of the best coaching institutes so that she could achieve her dream. She gave birth to their twins in 2015. She studied hard and finally became a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) or an Assistant Collector in the year 2016. This is considered as one of the highest positions in the Indian Administrative Services.

In the year 2020, she met another man at work and soon started cheating on her husband with him. When the husband found out about this and confronted her, she began threatening him. She then filed a case against him, accusing him of demanding a dowry at the time of their marriage. This lead to the husband's arrest, as demanding a Dowry is punishable with imprisonment in India.

The husband is currently out on bail and has been receiving threats via calls about divorcing his wife. As of now, he finds himself jobless, devastated and fighting for justice.
