They've been sold a dream. She could be right that there exist better men than her fiance, but she ignores the fact that these men also prefer a better woman than what she has to offer. You can't have 100 women all marrying the same 5 perfect men.

None of those women mentioned they were in love with their partner: it seemed to be a relationship of convenience and social expectation rather than love and when it was no longer convenient or meeting expectations, it ended. That's okay for a superficial interaction where both know the score, but not when its pretended to be a lifetime commitment, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, etc.

I was particularly disgusted by the woman with chronic fatigue who seems to have used her loving partner as an unpaid carer for 17 years and then sought financial advice when leaving him.

Then the other woman who had to go in for surgery and "expressed" her terror to her partner and expected him to say something positive and encouraging, when he was probably as afraid as she was but for different reasons, then left him because of that "failure". She already had the children she wanted, so it seems like an excuse to leave rather than a valid reason. Men are expected to be a bedrock of support, but are then criticised for not expressing their emotions and rejected when they do. This man was expressing his own feelings in his own way and all the woman could see was her own needs.

These women also seemed to find a better life after divorce, which is perhaps not surprising as their men had supported them with resources for what they wanted up until that point and perhaps beyond. If those women had to look after themselves from the beginning with no support, then I doubt they would have children and a career. Men provided them with a boost that I would hazard a guess was not returned.

I think we have to accept that relationships are designed to only last until procreation is successful and any further longevity is just a bonus (and that is when love drugged).

I wonder if love of what is being provided and circumstance is being mistaken for being in love.

She's a big below average girl the blonde one, 33 and masculine good luck finding a man. She'll be asking WAATGM soon enough. Look at this as The Age warning men about the blonde woman and the others. I hope her future cats enjoy their life with her. This is The Age warning men don't marry or cohabitate .

Don't look at this story about the hypocrisy of females v males and the way the media treats them . But as a good luck story for the man the below average blonde woman was going to marry . He's been saved from being divorce graped and 18+ years of child support to that below average woman who didn't love him.
