A little background. I'm in high school, and i've known this girl since the start of middle school. Just started talking to her a bit again since she sat next to me in my spanish class. Every other week I send her some spanish assignment and vice versa so we get the answers, that's been most of our relationship recently.

She has recently been starting conversations with me over text, and asking if I love her. I try to be short with my responses but also light and not serious. Whenever she asks this, i never say that i do love her. She has a man, so that's my confusion. What is her goal in asking me this/telling me that she loves me? Attention seeking?
