If a guy is paying cs for 1 kid, and they take say 30% of his income, what if he has 4 kids? They can't take 120%, so does that mean each mother gets a smaller % than if there were 1? What if he has 10? How does that work thanks

They’ll figure it out or just charge him the 120% then jail him for being a deadbeat. The state doesn’t care about the women or men in this scenario. The state just wants its kick back from the Title 4D.

There's a max percent of O'Conner that can be taken for child support. The amount is then divided among the children

I believe it varies by state, but often, the subsequent children after the first require reduced child support. For example, a father may have to pay $600 for one child, then $300 for the next, then $200, and so forth. It's dependent on your income as well as the mother's. It doesn't matter if she remarries either. She could marry Elon Musk, but the father's child support obligation doesn't change.

In Texas it caps out at 40% of pretax income. 20% for 1 and goes up 5% per additional kid.
