I(24F) met my excoworker(29M) when I was out of state and in the middle of breaking up with my ex. I liked him but did not pursue him as I wanted to respect my relationship even though things would end because I was still living with my ex.

Long story short I moved away after leaving my ex. After months I could not stop thinking about my coworker. We didn’t exchange any info and I contacted him through calling my old location and asking for him.

He told me he was upset that I left and we weren’t able to exchange numbers, but he wanted to be respectful because he knew that I was in a relationship, that he asked about me after I left. He would like to visit me and vice versa.

We had a great conversation the first day we reconnected, but since then have not really spoken. I want to respect his space because I know he works a lot and is busy but I also want to show him that I’m interested in him. Yet I don’t want to come across clingy, or needy, I’d just really like to get to know him.
