The double standards for how people treat victims of abuse is nuts basically if a woman is a victim of abuse then she is treated like an absolute queen but if a man is a victim of abuse then he is getting shat on and all the abuse that he went through is blamed on him and not the perpetrator how about we treat both male and female abuse victims equally with respect,kindness and compassion?

I dont want to be mean but im going to contradict this because im actually in this fandom. in the case of stella and stolas everyone in the fandom that ive seen and interacted with adores stolas and absolutely hates stella for how she treats him and her abuse started well before the cheating happened. I havent met a single fan who justifies or even tries to justify her. Stolas is an absolute teddybear and stella could burn is the genuine consensus and i feel like the creator actually did a decent job of showing stella as a villain and showing male characters going through abusive relationships from family and significant others.
