Long story short: girlfriend is sick as fuck, had a dental surgical procedure, period is around the corner, the semester is ending and she has tests to take but can’t go to school and might fail some subjects. Basically a very shitty week.

She’s been very angry today but I didn’t pay very much attention to her texts, I was busy doing my work in school. When I finished classes, I called to check up on her. Had her on the phone for like half an hour while she was spitting her soul out, shit about what’s going on blah blah blah.

After that, she started coming at me like all you care about is sex, and my health doesn’t concern you at all, a moment in which I remembered Briffault’s law. No matter how long I stayed in bed with her when she was 5 times worse three days ago, giving her (good) adivice on how she could handle her school situation with little struggle meant I did not care about her.

So I got mad on the inside (kept frame), told her I don’t want to have this conversation anymore because it’s not pleasant, and I don’t want to argue. Basically “I’ll hop in the shower and get to work. Feel free to call me if you need. Bye.”

I was too angry with my realization to keep talking to her. How would you say I handled this?

Also, should I call her later on in the day to see how she is or just ghost her for the day?
