I was in a queue to visit a Musuem. It’s a popular one - so the queue was 1h long. I had two senior citizens with me who also queued for that time.

There are 2 women who smile and ask me “Don’t we know each other. Aren’t we friends?” I reply “No”. She’s like “Come on, please say we are!” I say “No and don’t give them attention”. They hook on to thr guy in front of me. And that guy was a tourist visiting and was his last day in the country. And the guy was like “Whatever!”. This incensed me and a couple who was in front of this guy. We got into a discussion and said No again. The women keep telling us how it was too long and we were like “Yeah it is, we are in the queue”. One of the girls started talking how this was unfair and told how we don’t understand the culture of being friendly. We replied “You don’t understand the culture of queueing here!”

Eventually they left. Here’s the kicker - they had 4 other people with them and planned to butt them in if we said Yes.
