Sports and clubs (common interests). Side note: keep those grades up. Seriously.

If you don't want to play sports, consider joining or founding the powerlifting club at your school.

Read or listen to "how to win friends and influence people" multiple times.

Joining clubs or sports is a really good idea. Aside from that, just be more outgoing and socialize with people in your class even on an individual basis.

The best thing that I've found is to engage specifically with one or two people from a clique when they're not with their group. This could be in one of your classes or randomly in the halls. For example, just last week I saw one dude from my Bio class sitting in the library. I just went up to him and struck a conversation. We were nothing more than acquaintances, but we had a good chat for 40ish minutes while he waited for the rest of his clique. It's a lot easier to fit in when you're at least friends or on talking terms with one or two people since you don't feel like an outcast.
