I say it is a negative.

I firmly believe both men and women are delusional when it comes to the actual options they have. Like pop442 has said on another thread,

Average men are convinced that there's an unlimited amount of young, slim, and attractive women with low n-counts and wholesome values who are single. There aren't.....

Average women are convinced that there's an unlimited amount of tall, dark, and handsome men making 6 figures who are single. There aren't.....

Social media played a trick on our minds.

When we used to exist in offline spaces without OLD, we knew who was getting with who, and who we could realistically get. People were able to mate perfectly fine before the invention of OLD. We do not need to connect just about everyone in the world to one another for dating purposes. It seems to mess with people's heads.
