When I say average, I mean 5"8-5"11ish height range, typical job making 50/60k a year or so, neither handsome nor offensive in looks, and no severe mental illness/neurodivergence.

Most people are average and date, marry, have sex with, and settle down with other average people lol. It's how the world keeps going round.

I get it. "Average" men are not dating models. They don't have women flocking to them. Dating does require way more effort for average men than for Chads.

But as long as said average men have realistic standards (I.e. pursuing average women and not feeling entitled to Margot Robbie types) and are not completely insufferable, they can find love and even hook up without too much trouble?

And please be advised that I am talking about TRULY average men. A lot of yall really be talking about unattractive/neurodivergent/very short men when you reference average dudes. That's a whole other story and yes they do struggle severely.

So do genuinely average men actually suffer as much as people make it seem?
