Going to divorce my wife. We not have kids and I don’t want to pay alimony, been married for 12 years.

We have rental property together with a 2% interest rate.

I think it’s best to sell because I don’t trust her and if she dies (no Time soon). I will have to deal with her new boyfriend/ husband or a family member to deal with the house.

She doesn’t have a Will in place and she did have a Will she could leave a portion of the house to a relative and then I will have to deal with them. Which I know will be a headache.

I am thinking years down the line if we kept the house. We are making money with this rental, but she told me don’t blow up her phone.

I need to get a lawyer. How much did y’all spend on a lawyer. I need a lawyer because I feel she will try to drag this out.

What are your thoughts?
