Read gorilla mindset. Furthermore are you hitting the gym?

Why are you afraid to talk to girls? Are you scared they might not like you? If so, why is that a problem? You can’t expect that everyone will like you. If they reject you fine, take it as a win and learning experience and move on to the next girl.

Mindset: You already fucked them.

Here is the cure: Start eating healthy, go to the gym, start talking to a therapist about the problems.

Confidence is built by doing something over and over.

A good example is going to the gym. I walk in the first day and can only bench 100lbs for 10 reps. If the goal was to bench 200lbs, I failed. Did I really though? At the very least, I started. It’s only my negative thoughts telling me “I’m a failure. I should quit. I’ll never bench 200lbs for 10 reps.” For the next three chest workouts, I can only bench 95lbs. Wtf?! Now I’m starting to regress. Am I really or are my muscles getting used to bench pressing? Maybe my form was terrible at first, but now it’s getting better.

During my fifth workout, my bench jumps to 105lbs. I get 12 reps with ease and my form is better. My bench is improving. My confidence shoots up. A positive feedback loop is created. I start to have less negative thoughts because the act of doing proves to my mind that my thinking is incorrect. I start to think, “My thoughts are only thoughts. It doesn’t mean they’re true. I’ll keep going back. As long as I do, I’m improving.” During the next workout, I can only get 11 reps. I don’t get down now because my past has already shown me that what looked like regression can actually be me improving. I don’t quit and keep going back.

Some people are naturally predisposed to having a great body or good with women. Who cares? It’s not about them. It’s about my body and how I can improve it. Maybe I can learn from other guys too. Turns out some are really cool and give great pointers on form, diet, etc. They keep telling me consistency is the most important thing and they’re right. Six months later I take a pic and compare to who I was when I started. I weigh the same, but my body looks different. I didn’t even realize how much it’s changed. Some people noticed before I did. Wow, this feels great. I think, “I have to be patient with everything. Anything worth having or even getting, takes time and persistence. It’s stupid to compare myself to others. I can only compare myself to who I was when I started in the gym.” Five years later, a skinny dude who kinda looks like you did walks up to you at the gym, “Hi, you look like you know what you’re doing. Would you mind checking my form on my bench press?” You smile because you get it and now you can help others.

Other than a therapist, you have to take action. When it comes to women or anything else, there is no such thing as failure because as long as you’re doing, you’re growing. Action means you’re always moving away from the person you once were and towards the person you want to be.
