In contrast to many posts of female teachers raping underage male students, this post links an excellent interview discussing the problem.

As the story mentions, we are seeing more and more cases reported, which probably isn’t a result of more statutory rape occurring but rather more instances being reported.

However, the high incidence rate also tells me these female teachers overall feel confident they will get away with it, which suggests to me that despite the increased reporting, there are still vastly more incidents that are never reported. As this piece mentioned, many who are caught made the mistake of admitting their guilt, but there must be many, many more who are smart enough not to.

I recently saw an incident such as this in a newsfeed and the vast majority of comments to the article indicated they thought the victim was lucky. As this guy points out, victims of statutory rape aren’t lucky, but often suffer life long trauma. It’s a crime for a reason.

While we are seeing victims come forward more than in the past, I think we still have a long, long ways to go with this problem. Far too many people still view victims as lucky and far too many female teachers are getting away with this crime.

Don't read the comments if you want to avoid an aneurism. Lots of degenerate men defending pedophilia, child molestation and rape, and if the genders were reversed, they'd be the one calling for the man to be put in the woodchipper. This is how you know they've never had kids before and will probably remain childless.

I can't imagine how it would feel if in the future i have a son and he gets molested or taken advantage of by a older woman who could literally be his auntie or grandmother. Why does society allow fucked up things like this happen? rape isn't a joke and should be more serious for both genders no matter the situation, i dont care I'm saying it. And anybody who defends this type of shit your getting punched lowkey
