29F, I’m told in person that I’m attractive. I’ve gotten mostly cute, pretty etc & sometimes a little more flattering compliments. And no, not only by family or close female friends. I’ve gotten it from family friends, strangers (men & women), coworkers etc, think of your average social interactions. But the thing is I’m always single & don’t get noticed by guys in person. Well, I get attention from the guys you wouldn’t want, I might once in a while notice a good looking guy looking at me but they never do anything about it (people have told me in the past that guys look at me, think x about me but never make it known to me). Let’s be real, aren’t attractive women always taken? That kind of affects my self esteem, which is why I decided to post pics of myself on Reddit a while back & got conflicting reviews. Some forums gave good feedback, some mixed reviews & others just not good. I’ve seen some beautiful women post themselves on Reddit & the comments backed it up. But why isn’t that the case for me? Is it a case of putting myself on a pedestal? What were your experiences or thoughts on this?
