A post here about how MRMs vote got me thinking. So I did some googling:

  • ‘"Albanese" women on boards’ returns 30M hits
  • ‘"Albanese" homeless’ returns 2M hits
  • ‘”Albanese" suicide’ returns 3M hits but almost half are like “Albanese Labor Government fails…”, “The Albanese government refused…”, “Federal Budget fails…”

(For non-Australians, Albanese in our current left/Labor prime minister.)

My point is that they have lost their traditional focus on helping the underprivileged. Instead it's all about privileged women. And I used to vote for them...

EDIT: I'm not sure the conservatives would have come out any better. But they never had quite the same focus on the poor.
