Mandatory conscription still exists in a lot of even 1st world countries, the best (actually worst) example of it is Switzerland (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscription_in_Switzerland)
Males are forced to serve/train for the military, while avoid it you can easily get in trouble(thankfully it seems to be only fines there)
While the war is extremely unlikely, men are still forced to potentially die in it
And the worst part is, there was a referendum in 2013, and women, were allowed to vote on male conscription, that doesnt affect them, potentially forcing men to die ,hows that not sexism?
Now lets look at a an another case, Ukraine, men were banned from leaving the country just because they're men in the suitable age group, and should die in a war, cause appreantly equal rights only apply to women when its beneficial.
Theres nothing stopping women from leaving the country. Men are forced to stay, and die.
Basically the same thing in russian and belarus.
In those 3 countries avoiding draft/conscription can easily lead to jail time.
Even in the US, only males are eligble to be forcefully drafted.
