I had higher hopes for this, but he rambles on without going into detail about the dark patterns marketing that's being used on these channels.

These "influencers" are financially motivated to create content that enables doom scrolling, misinformation, sensationalism, extremism, fear, etc.

They have very little motivation to telling you how you're being tricked and how biases, cognitive distortions, and fallacies are being weaponized against the viewers for profit.

Doing so would cut into their profits, which they obviously don't want to do. Platforms have fed this madness by paying for anything rather than high-quality content.

I did like how he covered the contextomy that's parasitic within the Manosphere though. Even though, he barely touched on it. I wish more people understood these tricks.

Frankly, the video is garbage, because it is based on the utterly incorrect premise that the redpill claims about women are basically correct, and that the only difference is that the women's actual preferences might be slightly lower than their stated ones. It fails to acknowledge that the entire business model of these redpill podcasters is a gift, where they deliberately bring in exactly the kind of women who will give the kind of answers their audience wants to hear to get riled up about. In fact, the grift goes both ways, because many OF models deliberately agree to come on to these shows to advertise themselves. The actresses know that the pathetic audience of these shows is of the kind which subscribes to OF while simultaneously hating on it.
