I always thought I got it down when I fuck something up. I just say “ I made a mistake and take full responsibility” and leave it at that. I deal with whatever fallout comes from it and move on.

However what about when the fuck up is more public. I recently fucked up something at work and I took full responsibility for it. It was a stupid mistake and there isn’t much to it.

How do I handle the people who love to rub salt in your wound. Since pretty much everyone found out about it, it meant there was an open season on me.

There were plenty of people who said stuff like “look how embarrassed he looks” and “Oh so you aren’t that confident anymore?” And “Maybe you’re not as smart as you pretend to be” and so on and so on. Just people being dicks.

How do I best deal with that in an Alpha sort of way. How do you deal with people openly taking stabs at you?
