There has been a slow but steady drip of respectable academic research published over that last decade that has begun to support our experiences. It’s nice to have those saved to throw at them every once in a while; I mean, the info will never change their positions even if it’s published in their own feminist-run academic journals, but it is nice to throw their own ivory-tower rhetoric back at them occasionally.

The truth is, it’s not really worth your time to discuss any of this with someone who self identifies as a feminist, unless you are trying to learn more about feminism via their beliefs. Unfortunately the majority of these people don’t hold their positions about sociodemographic privileges or everything else, because they truly think they are backed by facts and statistics, or by observable history, or anything tangible like that.

The vast majority of feminist positions are ideology. They’re beliefs based on faith in a doctrine created 70ish years ago.

It’s just like flat earthers: no amount of studies or citations or measurements will ever convince them that the Earth is round. It’s too late to abort now, they are fully committed. They are in for the long-haul. There’s no logic to appeal to.

Anyway, summary is: if you’re gonna debate a feminist on any of this, just don’t go into it thinking it’s actually a good faith discussion. Do it for your own edification and/or entertainment.

I know it sounds kind of depressing, but unfortunately we live in really weird times where there’s legitimate academics publishing studies in journals about how we live in a “postmodernist era” where the idea of an “objective truth” doesn’t exist any more. They’re literally arguing that there’s no such thing as a fact. I’m not even exaggerating, this is literally what’s being discussed by our wonderful academics and philosophers and sociologists. These are troubling times.

I'm sorry to say this. It doesn't matter how much evidence you get, because the true goal of feminists is power acquisition. They want more power over men. It's all there is to it. It's why the only real move that men had at this point is to stop playing the game and walk away.

It’s hard when all their arguments are appeals to emotion and dodgy studies that cherry pick and leave out important details. Add to the fact arguing doesn’t change peoples mind, it just offends them. Where i live it’s just not worth it. Any argument made will be taken as misogyny and make a target for reputation destruction, character assassination etc. Especially when they twist what you said into something you didn’t even say.
