Don’t want to be a burden…

I (35F) am expecting my first child with a gentlemen (59M) I’ve been seeing for a few months now. We are in an exclusive relationship and while he does not wish to become a new dad at this time, he has made it clear he will help me as much as possible. Unfortunately, I was recently laid off which has caused an extra layer of stress and anxiety. We do not live together and I am currently paying bills via my savings. A month after being laid off I was rear ended pretty bad, totaling my car (baby is okay). Nonetheless, he has been financially assisting me in the rental car purchases along with fronting me the cash to purchase a new vehicle which we agreed I’d pay him back once my settlement was finalized. Anyway, I was advised that since I am currently unemployed to begin having several conversations with the man who calls me his “Forever Person” regarding a monthly stipend/ covering a few therapy sessions to assist in my mental health (as this has been a rather stressful time and being an unmarried mother is also causing angst). Basically placing him in a masculine position to lead…How can I do this in a feminine way? The fact that I am scared to address my needs makes me feel small as he never hesitates to assert when he wants his needs (sex) met. Also, I can’t keep engaging in sex stressed out. Not good for myself, the baby or frankly him and it’s starting to show…feeling like a burden. My mindset is this “a man cannot call you his “person” without backing it up with Masculine Action.”
