So my GF has this really, really clingy friend(shes a girl too) who thinks its her job to be at her side 24/7 to the point that its affecting our relationship.. I am friends with said person and I have laid down the law that we need personal time and it has helped, but sometimes the clinginess seeps through and Im so tired of it that I want it to end. I'm thinking of laying down the final line to my GF and say something like "If you dont fix the problem with _____, I'll fix it permanently and then you too will be free to hangout with eachother forever.", Implying that I will end the relationship cause it is nearing that point. Would this work?
