So a couple weeks ago I’m at the gym and a girl comes up to me and it ends up being an old ex’s friend. She’s cute we chat for a bit and then I go about my workout. I see her 2 more times the next couple of gym visits and she always comes up and starts a small convo, light touching, so I get her number. This pst Tuesday I get a text from the old ex (she’s engaged now) asking me to come Out with her and the girl from the gym on wed. I had a date with another girl so I said I couldn’t make it. Plus I know goin out with a girl and her friend is never a good idea. So the ex texts me today and straight up tells me to text him girl and ask her out. Ok cool, she’s playing match maker and I assume gym girl mentioned something to her about me. I end up running into her tonight at the gym and tell her to meet me for drinks after work on Tuesday and she says it would have to be with her and her friend on wed and it’s a “package deal”. I know that’s not a good indication of interest so I kind of just laugh at it and exit the convo. Would it be worth just going to see what happens? My old ex would def talk me up but I know from trp that when a girl will only go out with you if she’s with a friend it’s probably a waste of time. I figure just forget it but at the same time, why would her friend tell me to ask her out? They had to have some kind of convo about me and she wouldn’t tell me to ask if her friend wasn’t interested right? Idk. I’m pretty sure I know the answer but would like some feedback.
