As a man, I regret every single moment I served this country. This country (USA) doesn't give 2 shits about me as a person, a man or when I was a soldier. Don't thank me for anything, get off your ass and go serve, everyone. Then everyone has skin in the game, and cant rest on their laurels, looks, vagina, pregnancy profile, whatever excuse they have.

I was chewed up and spit out by the very country who I swore an oath to a meaningless constitution to protect. It's not worth the paper its written on. Id rather wipe my ass with it or use it pothole filler. The very country i served, stole my children, my money, my life, put into poverty and profited handsomely from my labor, my work, my value, my wealth, and stole the lives of my children. So if the US came a calling for me to go serve, I tell them to suck a BIG D and pack my bags and leave this country.

I have seen a few videos of non-Ukrainian foreign volunteers going over and helping the Ukrainians. From their experiences, it seems that Ukrainian leadership, both political and military, is corrupt.

Money mysteriously disappears, and nepobabies get put in charge of military units they don't have the experience to command.

I would flee the draft too, they have incompetent leaders who just send waves of troops in with little training or direction.

The money would be better spent hiring mercenaries than going to the Ukrainian government. If I were a guy in Ukraine, I would flee the draft too; they will probably waste your life. If you really want to fight effectively, flee the draft, join another country's military for effective training, then become a military contractor and go back in with proper training, equipment, and an effective team.

Mutiny was very common on ships when the capitan's incompetence put the men at risk.

They cannot turn against a whole government and the military, so they rightfully chose to flee.

There is a plethora of politicians, their children, both here and in Ukraine they can send right?

How about people on all kinds of social media writing all those super totally a difference making slogans and updating profile pics?

Seems they are all so convinced about this inevitable great victory happening any moment, and so good at explaining how honorable and great it is as a man to serve your country while explaining what you totally have to do, because when it comes to you getting ripped into pieces by artillery, drones, land mines or die in all kind of other horrifying ways (not horrifying enough though to be worth a shit in the media. Like raise your fucking hands if you think that massacre would still be running if the causalities would be made of women. Fuck. Raise your hands if you think it would be still running if "only" 10 000 women died. No? No one? How about if we had 5000 dead women? Still no one. 500? All hands down eh - got you thinking yet?) somehow no one talks about equality. Not even hearing about equity here.

Also did anyone check if the field commanders and troops are inclusive enough? Combat and military troop strength seems to be a high priority in war. So want to get the priorities right here and make sure they are diverse and inclusive, after all that is the number one thing to care about when looking for strengths.

Dear western governments.

You are posting all kinds of nonsense horror scenarios from Russia invading this to China that, to we need to intervene in so and so.

Please notice that Ukraine had all kinds of issues that I won't get into here. But corruption numbers, relative purchasing power and individual wealth and a number of other things have lots of publicly available data.

I won't get into this because that is not the point.

I want you to take note that all the things you are pushing here had not had not taken massive root there yet by most indications.

Then I want you to look at your recruiting numbers and polling data. Everywhere in the west.

I want you to understand that yes, there is large - albeit downwards trending and all time low - numbers of military personnel everywhere. And this is with all kinds of tricks like sign up bonuses, offering citizenship for service, extending contracts, lowering all kinds of standards, recruiting in foreign lands and quite a few others.

This is not a sleight against the men who server either.

But dear governments and leaders - you fucked up.

You can pass all the censorship laws you want, ban all the things you want and crack down on all the things you want.

You created conditions that destroyed the cohesion of our societies and the will of men to defend said societies.

And when shit comes to push the next time, I want you to look no further than the history books. They are filled with example of what happens when nations get hit by any force, and the men of the nation don't feel a true honest sense of pride, duty and love - be it for the country or their partner. This movie has been played out.

Yes. Some will show up. But it won't be enough. Not by a long shot. We are not coming this time. Look around you. Open your eyes. "ups sorry about that" will not make up for decades of what you did and the damage that compounded over that time.

And if you sit in front of your stupid little planning sessions, I wonder if deep down inside you already know. That is why the trippling down happens. Why all the censorship laws, and more shaming and other pathetic attempts. But look at the reality and you will find that the men you need in the numbers you need have so much less to loose than you or what you think, and so much more to gain by seeing it all come down.

Let me make it clear one more time. This time. We. are. not. coming.

Hope you really like that nation state beds you made.

The only way I would agree to fight is if it was literally to defend my own community, or my family. Yes - I would take up arms if my home were even remotely threatened, but the truth is that it NEVER has been. I live in the Midwest in a part of the US where the last battles took place more than 200 years ago. If a horde of people show up at the county line with guns threatening to kill everyone? Yeah, OK. I'm in. When that becomes a real risk, it's appropriate to call everyone up who will come, train them for a few days, arm them as heavily as you can, give them food and supplies, and tell them good luck.

Anywhere over on the coasts, or on some other country? Yeah, I'm not a part of them and I am not fighting their war.
