I feel like a lot of people recognise that emotional abuse is something that also affects many men, but modern feminism has done a great job at propagating the idea that men are responsible for both the misery of women and the misery of men. There's no winning here, as it always ends up at "men are evil". Your girl cheats on you? You couldn't make her happy enough. She verbally abuses you? At least she didn't beat you like you would if the roles were reversed, you disgusting man!

Seriously, it's absolutely nuts. I've seen countless videos where the man confronted his female partner about cheating/abuse and these psychopaths start crying and blaming the guy for it. I'm not saying that a man wouldn't try to deny his mistakes, but at the end of the day he will likely be held accountable for them, whereas many women who do the same shit get away with it.

The way we define abuse (whether it is emotionally or physically) seems to vastly different between men and women. maybe a hot take, but people underestimate how big the group of men who are emotionally abused is. If we're going to conform us to women's definitions, men are vastly more often than not emotionally abused. It's that nobody takes it seriously.
