i wish when i was younger i just straight up asked when i was confused about something. like if i were you i'd just send dude a msg with 'just to clarify, is this a date or a friend thing? 100% cool with either.' but for some reason i never did and just agonised over what was really pretty silly stuff.

dates where you're both awful at whatever it is are fun as hell, and watching how someone handles failure and embarrassment can be highly instructive on whether or not they're a keeper.

Just agree to go and play it by ear. If he tries to kiss you or escalate physically you’ll know he’s interested. As a women you really don’t have to do much.

Edit: I read your post history. He’s into you. It’s possible he’s not confident enough to express this or make a move.
