My gf recently told me that she doesn't feel like I care for her after I left her on read for flaking on a date on the weekend before my birthday. I went out, got a haircut, had lunch, and watched YouTube for awhile before she ends up texting me at 8PM.

We start talking about our day and then it escalates to her saying, "Well, y'know i don't feel like you care about me." In response, I said okay, why don't I come over to your house tonight, and she said no, my family is starting to go to church again tommorow.

It gets to around 11pm and I call it quits and say, look, I'm busy, I have a life, and if you aren't satisfied, then leave.

She responds with "At least tell me where you are and why you haven't responded! I've been wondering about you all day! You don't know how to handle what I'm going through!"

So whatever, I do realize that maybe it was a little rude to leave her on read (bad decision) and leave her an apology about 3 sentences long. I go to bed.

I wake up and she left me on read, and find an interesting scenario on her story:

She's at McDonald's, in the drive through, with her guy friend, who she claims to be her emotional tampon and guy friend whose always been there for her at 2am. So it became clear to me that she blew me off to be with her orbiter.

Anyways, I text her that I find that disrespectful and don't let it happen again or I'm leaving her ass, now I'm going to ghost her for a couple of days and see if I can get any pussy for my birthday this Tuesday.

Did I handle that right? I had a brief anxiety attack because I thought I cleared my oneitis by meeting other girls and becoming less emotionally attached, hence why I left her on read but damn, it's kinda heart breaking when you see someone you care about with someone else at 2am when that was supposed to be you.

Anyways, what could I have done better and are there any flaws in my approach? I'm willing to dump the girl because she has a history of not treating me right, but I'm having a tough time meeting girls at my high school.
