Title sums it up, but I’ll give some context.

I only just started using social media more, as it is undoubtedly a form of marketing nowadays, and I’d be a fucking imbecile to not use it to my advantage.

But when it comes to dating apps, I don’t use them, yet, but they do seem to be a gigantic waste of time and they definitely suck ass when it comes to mental health for most.

Now I consider myself a good looking guy, especially now compared to when I made similar posts few years back - acne is pretty much gone, I am starting. to look athletic and not just skinny, my face is looking more grown up and like a man, and in general I have ‘levelled up’ (not the “yaaas queen” type of level up bullshit, I’m talking actual magnitudes above what I used to be).

I’d say that my remaining hurdles seem to be; ice breaking, approaching and mixing up playful with deep conversations (I tend to focus on deeper conversations).

Most of those hurdles seem to be caused by the culture in the U.K., but I’m trying to not see it that way because that leaves any form of potential improvement out of my control, and I ditch the responsibility of risking it and trying out myself, but whilst it might not be as anti social as it seems, it definitely isn’t as free flowing like in other countries.

Any advice? How do I go about meeting women here in the U.K.? I don’t live in a city and my current hobbies don’t really have women exactly my age. Should I try approaching in the street or something? What worked for you?
