I was out for drinks with some friends and this girl I've only met a few times shows up. I talk to her and decide that I want to ask her out. Now I was in a bit of a hurry so after she said yes I told her I would message her later.

Now I text her about three or four messages to kind of gauge her responses (her replies are long and use emojis, mine are short and teasing). Knowing that she is a busy person I decide that it's ok to ask her what days she is free and she gives two days out of 7 a week from now.

My questions:

  1. would I be falling into her frame by setting things up on one of those days?

  2. would it be a mistake to push for an earlier date and possibly have her turn it down?

  3. if it's a week from now, how do I stay relevant in the time until the date?
