But unable to contain the urge to nerd it out, what do you call "trp methods"? Being good looking, masculine and showing high value?
Well, I bet it works. Those folks should be into men, so being manly can't fail, can it?
On the wrong way, most of PUA and game theory has been developed thinking about what is attractive for women in men, which is often and ultimately rooted in their biology.
Traps are dudes and I wouldn't bet on them being fragile ones with womanly needs, so, that shouldn't work. I have no idea whether they pay attention to stuff men do, but I'd bet on it, so, work on looks and laying the perspective of sex.
