Girls are emotional beings, if you try to understand them you’ll go crazy.

Their behaviour isn’t based on logic, but on emotions, which means that trying to understand the logic behind their actions is a waste of time.

Girls do things without any intention whatsoever, you think that they are signalling you and in reality they are just inside their head thinking about their lives and aren’t even conscious about how their behaviour comes across to other people.

So what you thought were signs, were actually just her general mannerisms.

It’s highly unlikely that a girl will actually give you a sign to cold approach her on the street because that’s not normal behaviour so they don’t expect someone to actually do it.

Might be an unpopular opinion but, walking over to her was uncalibrated. Especially if she was far away from you and enough so that getting closer to her meant you would have to visibly put in an effort. I would have played the eye contact game for a bit more until I get a smile. A smile would be a major indicator that I can approach. She was teasing you. Show confidence by teasing her back, and seeming desperately in a rush to capitalize of anyone who looks at you. A man with abundance wouldn’t be caught so easily. And honestly, maybe she doesn’t speak English. Maybe she has a boyfriend. You caught her attention and for a moment she was enjoying playing this harmless game with you. You have to make it look like you are amused by the game, but not in a rush to capitalize on it. After all, you are in a public place where it isn’t the most sexy place to game so she may have felt embarrassed. It would have been better to wait until she runs to the bathroom and go after her at the same time and make a smooth transition to a conversation rather than the ice cold approach you tried to pull off. Approaching in daytime is very different than nightgame. People are with their families, doing errands, etc and flirting may not be the first thing on their mind. At night, however, approaching is expected. Basically when a girl gives you an inch, don’t take a mile right away. Even if the end result of this interaction would be you played eye-tag with this cute girl for a few minutes.
