Take it slow.

This is serious, especially if you value your job.

Dont ask her out on a literal date until you establish rapport and 100% confident she’s into you.

If she likes you, she wouldn’t be on/off about flirting. “Catching a vibe” can also be something only you’re feeling.

Spontaneously invite her to grab lunch together one day and engage in laidback/flirty behavior. You’ll quickly see if she’s vibing with you outside of work.

I was once asked out on a date by a coworker I didn't know very well. Being the lonely lady I was I went with it, and it honestly went pretty ok.

We did have a long discussion about how we would handle it with work, and how things would go if things were to go wrong. Mutual understanding is pretty important in situations like this and keeping things breezy during worktime helps. We dated for a little bit but he had to move away. So it's for sure possible to have a good relationship!

Just make sure you both understand the risks and keep it mature!

Recently started a job as a waiter and I instantly clicked with a waitress the second or third day at the job.She seems into me and we already made plans to go to a concert together. BUT I will make SURE that she is really into me before making any moves because her brother in law and her sister are also waiters there and its gonna be very awkward if I get rejected or if I fuck up. So be aware of the aftermath if you are willing to take the path of showing your interest.

on the one hand, you have a lot in common already, like obviously people meet at work, thats where you are all day

on the other, if it goes bad you are still working there

Coworkers have friends and can enlarge the social circle, but flirting or having affairs, nono ... Not worth it. Too much risk.

To me it depends on the job. If it's a random job you just work at, then go for it. If it's a career or something you intend to turn into a career then don't risk it or be extra cautious.
