No. Girls like to talk but if its only to answer a specific questions thatre actually relevant to them. Or they enjoy thoroughly listening and then asking your questions after. Putting a girl on the spot into the unknown is the worst thing you can do

That question also is in an indirect way of trying to get her to validate herself over to you. Which they hate. Theres no substance in it either which they also hate. Pretty much that question is lazy, bland, and hands over the lead to the girl to take control of the conversation. Which is your job as the guy

If youre asking us for good question to ask girls you're coming from a postion where you don't even understand or care to know a girl individually. You just want generated questions that you can ask any girl to try to form a connection

This is an effective question for people who are good at communicating and asking questions in return. I love when a guy asks this question because I want to know all the things and this at least gives me the idea he’s willing to have a conversation. Some people struggle with conversation and may find this so open ended that although they want to respond, they simply don’t know where to begin—therefore it wouldn’t be effective. I’d try feeling out the date first and not drop it right out of the gate as if it’s an interview, but more a follow up question. It has nothing to do with it being a woman, men struggle with this too. These types of questions and answers stem from social and dating skills along with comfort levels and even differ upon personalities. Good luck OP :)
