But, pretending it to be true on some extremely tenuous level, it would boil down to practicality: homosexual men don’t get gratification from female genitalia, whereas many lesbians very much appreciate at least proxy male genitalia…

Your other generalizations are wholly inaccurate, at least with any consistency. Perhaps it seems true where you live?

The most important thing to understand is that there is no monolithic LGBTQ community. It’s a convenient term for cishet folks to use, and the naive to rally around… but it’s more like a dozen or more specialized groups trying to tolerate each other long enough to seem like a viable power block to the local politicians.
