It's sucks to get older but it's pointless to complain about it. Yes, the world values youth. Beauty and youth also goes hand-in-hand. You just gotta suck it up. The good news it, it reminds you that you don't have infinite time. You better enjoy life now while you have the chance.

Partially true, medias is manipulated for bigger profit, and try to sell an image of “impossible”perfection, and never cared about happiness! To me, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, noway that only because she is young and pretty I will be interested, there is a depth in the layer of happiness, so making the person with values, virtues, character, education and manners more sexy than a shell that fade with time! Youth is like a radioactive isotope, radian but unstable, just question of time before it fide the right balance and become wiser and stable! And I do see physical beauty at all ages!

None of this is depressing in any way to me . It is a simple observation about sex and attraction - that in your youth (20s) , is when your sexual attractiveness is naturally the highest. This is biology; why should it be depressing in any way?

However what is actually depressing is the current state of western society. That people actually believe that you need to always be sexually active and trying to date young people into your middle/ old ages. Society is so sex obsessed that this feels natural . However there’s far more to life than sex - when we realize this and start looking for meaning beyond sexual needs - you’ll realize this needn’t be depressing at all.

It’s not society, it’s biology, we all work based on our genes and biology, even our psychology works on that, and all society works toward simply biology motivators of pleasure and pain, younger women will always be more attractive and valuable to men, that’s just how it works, whats your point?
