I am flying out west to visit an old friend. I have known her since HS and we have had an undeniable chemistry between us. We never dated though I told her back then I had feelings for her. We have always remained friends.

I had talked of visiting her in the past but she said due to her roommates I would need to book a hotel. I couldn’t afford to do such. We never discussed it further until recently. We have been texting/snapping more recently and she suggested I come visit. I agreed so we made plans. We have some activities planned such as hiking and rock climbing. I asked if I need bring a tent and she said we would share. Which I had thought was off the table. I also asked about renting kayaks and such and she suggested sharing a paddle board for just us two.

We joke a lot back and forth but she has been sending me more snaps of her with her hair done and looking nice. She didn’t put much effort into her looks previously. She also sent me a snap of her in a towel fresh out of the shower. I made fun of her saying she needs to dry off more as I was nervous af.

I feel as if she may be into me finally. That being said it is a five day trip and then we wont meet again for some time so there is no possibility of a relationship. I can’t tell if she also feels the same extent of tension and whether or not that will be released on my trip. Thoughts? Suggestions? Would it be weird to make a move a few days into the trip?

TLDR: Undeniable chemistry between an old crush and myself. She suggested a visit and I’m mot sure if things will get intimate or not. Not sure how to engage if things feel intimate.
