Title. So I have the confidence to approach women and talk to them but the way I talk to them is pretty bland.

Just by a look at my texting history on dating apps and my history with texting women and cold approaches, I can initially vibe with a girl, but then my skills go to shit.

My friends have said that it seems like I try too hard to be funny, try too hard to say the perfect thing, that it seems like I’m trying to get the girl to like me versus seeing if I like them, that I over compliment and that I’m trying too hard to not offend the girl.

Some have also noticed that I try to not be sexual in the way I speak/ text when I’m in the talking stage with women and this is because different women have different boundaries and I’m afraid of crossing them. To put it into perspective I’m afraid to even make a that’s what she said joke.
