I wanted to know if you guys broadly agree with this. Bear in mind, I'm talking from a purely seduction perspective meaning you don't want her to be a friend to begin with.
The point is this. If you meet women doing an activity or in a party or a bar or club, you have to make it obvious to her you are talking to her for romantic reasons from the beginning. You probably want to escalate in the first moments. You don't want her to friend zone you but more important you don't want to friendzone yourself. You don't want her to think you only want to hangout, talk over extended periods, be in group of friends etc. Your encounter has to be bold and direct. Even more importantly, you have to risk romantic rejection and her not even treating you as a friend. Meaning if she rejects your romantic approach she probably won't even be your acquaintance, her obviously finding it awkward.
The friendzone is not somewhere you don't want to be because you yourself probably will find it to hard to escalate from there. Escalating from friendship is arguably more awkward and takes more time, then escalating at first instant. You wind up losing a friend and it might even come across as nefarious or insincere. My problem is that I meet a lot of women and generally have no issue getting contacts etc. I end up making lots of female friends but nothing more.
