Hello everyone. I'm pretty sure this gets asked often, but I struggle deeply with the "first line" when it comes to approaching women. I think I'm a pretty charismatic guy and I can hold and open conversation with just about anyone - men or women.

Though I just don't know what to say when I see a cute girl. I mainly meet women at university, but like I just don't know what to walk up to them and say. I feel like "hey you're cute" is an uncomfortable opening that could make them feel startled or something. If I can just use an opening that they positively react to, I can pretty much easily hold a conversation and ask for their numbers near the end of our talk.

So my question is, how can I approach these girls at university (mainly at the library) and introduce myself / start a conversation without seeming weird or creeping them out.

Just for reference, I'm an average looking dude and I know my way around people and how to make them laugh. I just really struggle with the openings.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
