Guess: You look like you’re having a shitty day

Simple stuff which will prompt her to actually respond, if she was having a shitty day you would appear as someone who gives a shit, if she wasn’t then she would be engaged in telling you how her day wasn’t shitty.

Plus, she won’t need to ask you questions back but you would just flow with the convo through statements and guesses made by you and responses by her.

Don't worry so much about whether or not she's asking you questions as well. She most likely won't anyway because you're the one who approached her, not the other way around. She wasn't expecting it and now she's evaluating you based on how you act with her. If you do a good job, she'll give you her number or whatever and then you'll eventually start getting questions from her once she's decided she's interested in getting to know you.
