Or they will say yes and expect you to kiss them and you now have the invitation to do so. If they say no, ummmmm or don’t respond, take it as a no thank you and don’t get mean or weird - just say “that’s okay too.” you can do something similar to this while hooking up/escalating further - it tends to be both hot and confidence boosting to everyone involved.
