I've seen a lot of opinion of using FB but not a lot of detail.

I'm a bit of a loner but I'm good looking. I've decided to hit tinder/FB and see where it gets me, however I'm focusing on FB here.

Through mutual friends I've seen a few girls who seem to have similar interests to mine and/or a similar vibe. They are the girls that are on the weird side perhaps. Naturally this limits me to fewer girls, however I feel more sincere going for these types. I have two approaches in mind. Let's say the girl is into film;

  1. Ask her about her vibe/interests e.g. "hey, what do you think of X director?"

  2. Share something that I'm passionate about e.g. "I LOVE this director" with a link or "you look like you would like X director"

I'm not gonna talk to them loads ofc, just enough to see if they fit my vibe, and set up a meet.

Which approach of the two is better? Is there soemthing I'm missing?

P.S. I want to do this as sincerely as possible and avoid creepy small talk. I love sharing interests with others and I thought that this would be a "two birds with one stone" sorta thing.
