It depends on how you want to position yourself during the dates. If you want a relationship then yes kissing so soon might it be a good idea. If you are looking for a hookup or friends with benefits type of thing then you absolutely should make the date more sexual and go for it

You mention courage, though. Are you afraid she won't want to kiss you?
There's a saying about marriage proposals: the surprise comes from the "when" and the "how", not from the outcome. If you don't already know that she wants to marry you, you shouldn't be proposing.
Kissing is pretty much the same. You don't just throw lips at someone without warning. You work your way up to it through a process we call kino escalation. Basically, you gradually get closer and more touchy with her.
By the time you're all cuddly together, there's like a 95% chance that she wants to kiss too. Those odds aren't so scary, are they?
