So this weekend, I'm aiming to spend more time with this shy/introverted girl I've been talking to for a while. We are decently close, have flirted/teased here and there, and I would like to make the next move.
We are both mechanically inclined and enjoy assembling small furniture/machines, etc. I have a product I just purchased and figured I can ask her to help me assemble it. The point is to get quality time with her, make her feel comfortable, and escalate from there.
I'll be asking regardless, and I'm no stranger to rejection, but I do want to maximize the opportunity since she'll more than likely know what my intentions may be. So, should I ask her in an open/light-hearted manner: "Hey, just got x and x item, down to help me build it? 😀".
Or, in a more or less direct/closing approach: " Yo, I just got x and x item, you should help me build me it 😀".
This will be in person, and just before shooting it, I'll toss is some of our inside jokes to try and hype her up and make her comfortable.
Either way, this means spending alone time with me, which doesn't happen too often. But from the times it did, it was amazing. Obviously, I know her best, but I guess I didn't want to come off "too" strong. Saving that for the time together if I get it.
