Depends on the rapport I have with her. If we’re already in a flirty/touchy stage. Why not. If we barely know each other or are strangers then it’s pointless.

Instead just go and say a hello and initiate the things thats all.

For stages where I’m not a nobody and also not flirty/touchy. I have no need but If I have, I’ll do it in a hot and cold manner. Something like telling her I hate you while going for a hug.

If you have a "crush" and you haven't asked her out, you're failing at step 0 of seduction. We don't do crushes here. If you have no intentions of dating her then it's a non issue. If you do would like to go out with her, then you need to do something about it. The longer you wait, the less likely you are to succeed.
