Have you gone on a single date yet?
For the record Valentine’s Day is a couples day. Your first date with this person should come before that.
No it’s not creepy to ask them out. It is creepy to try to randomly ask them out for Valentine’s Day though without spending some time together

Like a week out is the maximum time frame. If you’re seeing each other consistently it’s implied. Don’t need to mention it at all.

I've had valentine's first dates. You just mention it before hand like....look I know it's valentine's and it's totally new so I wanna get you something simple for sure. Don't take it all serious or anything but I mean..your a girl ,you're going out with me on valentine's you should have something so I'm gonna be all coupley about it but don't take it too seriously okay? , what's your favorite flowers, wanna make it a nice dinner?
Two of them we went around with the goal of convincing wait staff or bartenders that it was our five year anniversary as a running gag for the date.
She'll appreciate the honesty, and the gesture and not be scared you think it's super serious bc it's valentine's.
